InHealth Join the Green Diamond Club

We are proud to announce that InHealth has joined Sumillion’s Green Diamond Club!

The Green Diamond Club was established by Sumillion Limited as a celebration of what a group of partners with shared values on sustainability and equality can achieve.  We believe you should not have to choose between economic growth and sustainability and aim to show that we can do both.

“We are delighted to announce that InHealth is now supporting Sumillion’s Green Diamond Club! It is vital that we continue to deliver on our commitment to making greener decisions as an organisation for a greener future and our support in this initiative aims to create opportunities for less fortunate societies. It is the first step in moving towards a more sustainable and equal global community. Through this partnership, To Live In H.O.P.E can begin organising and constructing another water well for a school in rural Ghana. Not only will the children and staff have access to clean water, but the wider community will benefit!
Both the rural and urban areas of Ghana struggle with finding clean water. One of the leading diseases affecting the people of Ghana is cholera, which can commonly be found in contaminated water, unknowingly. With a water well, these communities can feel safer in their environment with a trusted source of clean water.

While InHealth operates within the UK, that doesn’t mean that our care stops at the coast. We believe it is our responsibility to expand our outreach where possible, to make a change outside of our immediate surroundings. In the UK, access to clean and healthy food and water can be taken for granted, whereas it isn’t even a reality to much of Ghana.
Through this partnership with Sumillion we are creating a cleaner, safer and greener future to so many, and we’re looking forward to sharing our sustainability endeavours with an organisation that shares our ethos around making a difference to our world.

Work has started on the water well!

Construction has begun with the drilling process – locating the water source and then digging for access. The well is in its early stages, but in three weeks, the local community will be able to drink, wash and cook worry-free!
Water is one of our most fundamental human rights, and Ghana in particular suffers from too much polluted water due to a lack of functioning water filters. While water is vital for our survival, many areas of Ghana (both rural and urban) can only access unfiltered, bacteria-ridden water which causes more problems to inhabitants’ health. This has a resulting effect on general quality of life, economic prosperity, and human progress.

As the UK’s leading provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, we appreciate the importance of accessibility to a clean and safe environment. We are committed to transparency and ethical behaviour in all of our activities, making a positive social, economic and environmental contribution to the communities in which we operate. That is why our partnership with Sumillion is so exciting, as we can continue our commitment to corporate and social responsibility through charity projects, but in a wider scope. Bringing water to a rural community makes a big difference in reducing mortality rates caused by polluted water, securing a healthier and safer environment for the children to prosper.

Healthier planet, healthier people.

Progress is underway on the construction of the clean drinking water well in the rural school of Ghana, thanks to the collective partnership between Sumillion and InHealth. Witness the dedication and hard work that goes into making this life-changing project a reality. Each day, we get closer to providing clean water, improving health, and creating a better environment for the children and the entire community. Stay tuned for more updates on this transformative journey.

We are thrilled to share the final video of our clean drinking water well project in Ghana, in partnership with Sumillion. It is so heart warming to see the smiles on the faces of the children as they drink clean water for the first time at their school.

Together, we have made a lasting impact on the lives of these children, promoting good health, and empowering them for a brighter future. Join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sumillion for their unwavering support and dedication to ensure this project is a huge success!

Thank you to InHealth and To Live In H.O.P.E for your support and hard work in bringing this project to fruition. Our partnership with InHealth is making a meaning impactful to countless individuals. We're fully committed to partnership with organisations who consider people and planet.
