YPI are a registered charity, who cover the South East and Hampshire area. They offer confidential counselling to young people aged 11-25 who are facing issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm and many other issues. YPI also offer a mentoring programme to provide a positive role model and work closely with schools to keep young people in education.
The recent pandemic has meant YPI are now busier than ever with young people’s mental health, and experts are predicting a tsunami of mental health issues in our young people over the next year. Unfortunately, fundraising has also been severely affected and YPI are desperately trying to raise more funds to reach as many young people in crisis as possible.
Sumillion have found that fundraising as a company has a positive impact on team morale, giving individual staff a collective feeling of self-worth. Support costs less than the price of a daily cup of coffee per week, as £25 is enough to give a young person a complete session, and £250 will put a young person through a complete course that will change their lives.
